ClassDojo & New York State Education Law Section 2-d

Student Data Privacy Addendum:

ClassDojo offers a NY State-specific student data processing agreement (DPA) that we enter into with New York school districts that specifically addresses New York State Education Law Section 2-d requirements. We have signed with over 140 districts in New York. 

Here is a PDF copy of the DPA, and here is a document with the details of how we've incorporated NY-specific compliance into the DPA. Please do not download and sign this PDF. 

Instead, the DPA can be signed digitally by the authorized signatory for the LEA/district here. 

Parent's Bill of Rights:

ClassDojo's NY DPA includes the Parent's Bill of Rights provided by the New York State Department of Education. The authorized signatory can enter the district's specific details when signing at the link above. 

Supplemental Information:

The “Supplemental Information” requirement of Education Law §2-d(3)(c) and Section 121.3 of the Implementing Regulations is included in Exhibit "G" of ClassDojo's NY DPA.
