Here’s what a student sees when they are logged into their account on the ClassDojo website:
Their Monster
The student’s monster will be in the upper left-hand side of the home screen when they log in. They can click on the ‘play’ button in the box with the monster to customize the body, color, eyes, mouth, and clothing or to play Dojo Islands.
Active Classes with Point Totals
The student’s active classes will show up with the total number of points the student has in that class in the middle left-hand side of the screen.
Clicking on the class will pull up the total number of points they have in that class and their total for the day.
Their Report
Clicking on “View Report” will pull up the student’s report for the current week for all classes.
Assigned Activities
Under “To Do” at the top of the screen, students will see all of their assigned activities. Clicking “Start” will pull up the page for them to complete the activity.
Clicking “View All” will bring them to the “Portfolio" tab where they will see all assigned activities, any drafts of posts, and all completed activities.
Class Story Feed
The student will be able to see the Class Story for all active classes they are connected to in a chronological feed under “Stories” on the homepage.
Portfolios Page
Clicking on the “Portfolio” tab at the top of the page will bring up the student’s assigned portfolio activities as well as a feed of their drafts, completed, and approved portfolio activities.

Here’s what a student sees when they are logged into their account on the ClassDojo iOS app:
Their Monster
Tapping on the monster at the top of the screen will allow the student to customize the body, color, eyes, mouth, and paint or to play Dojo Islands.
Active Classes with Point Totals and Assigned Activities
All active classes the student is connected to will show up with the total number of points the student has in that class and the number of assigned activities they need to complete.
Tapping on the class name will show them:
- The total number of points they have in that class and their total for that day.
-
The student can tap on their points to see their report for the week in either a daily or weekly view.
- Their “To Do” list for that class.
- Tapping on the activity will give them the instructions for the activity.
- Tapping “Start” will pull up the page for them to complete the activity.
- All of their pending and approved portfolio posts
- The Class Story for that class
Home points (if the parent is a Beyond School subscriber)
The student’s total home points will appear under “Home Report” if the parent is a Beyond School subscriber.
Class Story Feed
The student will be able to see the Class Story for all active classes they are connected to in a chronological feed.

- The student can tap on their points to see their report for the last two weeks in either a daily or weekly view.
- Their “To Do” list for that class. Tapping on the activity will give them the instructions for the activity.
- Tapping “Start” will pull up the page for them to complete the activity.
- All of their pending and approved portfolio posts
Home points (if the parent is a Beyond School subscriber)
The student’s total home points will appear under “Recent” if the parent is a Beyond School subscriber.
Class Story Feed
The student will be able to see the Class Story for all active classes they are connected to in a chronological feed.
