Teachers that want to collaborate with other teachers or school leaders in a school must first be "verified."
This step to become verified helps ensure safety within school communities on ClassDojo, so that teachers can share students, classes, and communicate with parents connected with that school.
When a teacher selects a school to join, a request is made within ClassDojo to help verify the new teacher. That request is sent to the ClassDojo Mentor(s) for the school as well as any verified School Leaders.
If your school doesn't already have a ClassDojo Mentor or a verified School Leader, you can click "Get verified" in the "School Story" or "Teachers" tabs (access these by clicking on the school tile on your homepage). A ClassDojo Customer Team member will reach out to you for more information to help you get verified!
Alternatively, teachers can also contact ClassDojo directly (email@example.com) and send in either a photo of their school ID or a link to their school's online Staff Directory, and our Customer Team will personally verify you.
