How School Leaders Can Give Feedback Points to Students

There are two types of points that School Leaders can award to students:

School Leaders and Admins can award out-of-class points to students in the Schoolwide points dashboard. To award out-of-class points, you can follow these steps on the web:

  1. Log in to your account at www.classdojo.com
  2. Select "Points" on the Left Navigation Bar
  3. Select "Give Points"
  4. Select a student and click on a point skill. (Select “Needs Work” to find the categories that will award this type of point)

If a School Leader is listed as a co-teacher in a class, they can award class points to students within the class. Any class points that you award will show in each student’s report along with your name, the date and time it was given, and to whom it was awarded (if given to a small group or the whole class). To award class points, you can follow these steps on the web:

  1. Log in to your account at www.classdojo.com
  2. Open the class
  3. Click on a student’s name
  4. Click on a point skill. (Select “Needs Work” to find the categories that will award this type of point)
