How Do I Get Started as a School Leader?

It's easy to sign up for ClassDojo account as a principal, vice-principal, or other school leader role!

1. Navigate to the ClassDojo homepage at www.classdojo.com
2. Select “School Leader” from the center of the screen
3. Enter your name, school email, and title and click “Sign up”. *Note: Using your school email is not required but recommended so you have the option of having your account automatically verified.
4. Search for your school's name and click on the listing you'd like to join. *Note: If you see more than one listing of your school appear in the search results, email our Customer Success team at [e-mail] and we can merge them into one listing and no information will be lost.
5. Click "Join This School".
6. If your school has a Mentor (a teacher who uses ClassDojo regularly and has this distinction in their account) they will be notified of your join request and can approve your request from within their account.  If you don't have a Mentor, or would like to be verified by us, you can email [e-mail] for assistance.
7. You also want to make sure to verify your email address. If you do not verify your email address, then you will not be able to access all features of your account even after our team verifies your role at your school. If you do not receive the email verification email in your inbox, write to us at [e-mail] and let us know.

As a verified School Leader, you have all the features in a teacher account, but in addition, will be able to...

• Invite other teachers to join your school
• Accept or deny join requests from other teachers
• Remove teachers from your school
• Add/remove students from your Directory 
• Post to and edit your School Story

iOS

1. Download the ClassDojo App from the iOS App Store
2. Open the app and tap on "I’m a school leader"
3. Tap on “Create school leader account”
4. Enter your email address and create a login password, then tap "Create Account"
5. Enter your title, first, and last name, then tap "Next"
6. Join your school.  Search using your school's full name and address, then tap on the matching school. (Please Note: If you don’t see it, scroll to the bottom and tap “Add [your school’s name]” to add it. If you don’t want to join a school, select “I don’t teach in a school.” You can always join your school later by following these instructions) 
7. Tap "Join this school"
8. Your school's ClassDojo Mentor (a teacher who uses ClassDojo regularly) will be notified and will approve your request to join the school.  If you don't have a Mentor, or would like to be verified by us, you can email [e-mail] for assistance.
9. From your dashboard, tap on your Demo class to play around with our available features.  You can also tap "+ Add class" to start your own class.
