How to Set or Edit Quiet Hours

From the Web

  1. Click on your name in the upper, right corner of the screen
  2. Click on "Account settings"
  3. Click on the "Messaging" tab
  4. Switch your Quiet Hours to "On" or "Off"  

If you switch your Quiet Hours to "On:" Select start and end times for your Quiet Hours

You can also turn on Quiet Hours for the entire weekend (Saturday and Sunday) by turning "Mute Weekend Notifications" to "On" 

Note: During Quiet Hours, you won't receive any notifications for new parent messages.  You will still receive notifications when a parent likes a Class Story post or when a teacher or parent joins your class.

iOS

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard and click on "Account settings"

  2. Tap "Push notifications"

  3. If you turn Quiet hours on, the button will turn green.  If you turn Quiet hours off, the button will turn white

  4. If you turn Quiet hours on, select start and end times and click “Save” when you’re finished
  5. You can also turn on Quiet hours for the entire weekend (Saturday and Sunday) by turning Mute on weekends to green Updated_Helpdesk_article_images__90.png

Note: During Quiet Hours, you won't receive any notifications of new parent messages. You will still receive notifications when a parent comments on a Story or Portfolio post or when a teacher or parent joins your class.

Android

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard and click on "Account settings"
  2. Tap on "Notification settings"notifications_in_app__2_.png
  3. If you turn Quiet hours on, the button will turn blue.  If you turn Quiet hours off, the button will turn grey
  4. If you turn Quiet hours on, select start and end times
  5. You can also turn on Quiet hours for the entire weekend (Saturday and Sunday) by turning Mute on weekends to bluein_app_quiet_hours.png
