Experimental features - unblocking desktop notifications

From the Web

If you accidentally "block" notifications from our website, you won't be able to select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications."  Please do the following in order to allow notifications again and enable desktop notifications:

Chrome browser:

  1. Chrome > Preferences > Show advanced settings > Privacy > Content settings > Notifications > Manage exceptions...
  2. On the list of exceptions, you should see teach.classdojo.com along with "Block."  Hover over the website address and click the "X" next to "Block" to remove the block and allow notifications
  3. Go back to your ClassDojo teacher account
  4. Click your name in the upper, righthand corner of the screen
  5. Click "Profile settings"
  6. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  7. Turn the switch next to "Experimental features" to "On"
  8. Select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications"
  9. A pop-up window like this should appear in your browser window:
  10. Press "Allow" and then click the "X" in the upper, righthand corner of the window to close out of this window

Safari browser:

  1. Safari > Preferences > Notifications 
  2. Click "Allow" next to teach.classdojo.com
  3. Go back to your ClassDojo teacher account
  4. Click your name in the upper, righthand corner of the screen
  5. Click "Profile settings"
  6. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  7. Turn the switch next to "Experimental features" to "On"
  8. Select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications"

iOS

Enabling experimental features is easy on the Web!  This feature isn't currently available on the ClassDojo iOS app.

 

Android

Enabling experimental features is easy on the Web!  This feature isn't currently available on the ClassDojo Android app.
