Unblock or Block Desktop Notifications

From the Web

If you accidentally "block" notifications from our website, you won't be able to select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications."  Please do the following in order to allow notifications again and enable desktop notifications:

Chrome Browser:

  1. Select the three-dot vertical button > Settings > Advanced > Content settings > Notifications
  2. Under “Block,” you should see teach.classdojo.com. Next to the website address, click the three-dot vertical button and select “Remove” from the drop-down menu to allow notifications
  3. Go back to your ClassDojo teacher account
  4. Click on your name in the upper, right hand corner of the screen
  5. Select "Account settings"
  6. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  7. Turn the switch next to "Experimental features" to "On"
  8. Select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications"
  9. A pop-up box like this should appear in your browser window:Updated_Helpdesk_article_images__42.JPG
  10. Press "Allow" and then click the "X" in the upper, right corner of the window to close out of this window

Safari Browser:

  1. Safari>Preferences>Notifications 
  2. Click "Allow" next to teach.classdojo.com
  3. Go back to your ClassDojo teacher account
  4. Click on your name in the upper, right hand corner of the screen
  5. Select "Account settings"
  6. Click on the "Advanced" tab
  7. Turn the switch next to "Experimental features" to "On"
  8. Select the checkbox next to "Desktop notifications"

iOS

Enabling experimental features is easy on the Web!  This feature isn't currently available on the ClassDojo iOS app.

Android
