When a teacher sends a message, parents will receive a notification either by email or as a push notification from the ClassDojo app. We recommend parents download the ClassDojo app as it's the simplest way to stay in touch with teachers.
When you download the app, you'll get a push notification each time you get a message from your child's teacher. Emails aren't issued to app users unless the in-app notification was not successfully delivered. In order to ensure that you're able to get push notifications, you need to have notifications enabled on your mobile device.
To enable push notifications on an iOS device:
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Find the ClassDojo app and make sure push notifications are enabled

- Find the ClassDojo app, and tick the Show Notifications box

If you're using the website (and don't have the app installed on your device), you'll get email notifications for each new message sent from the teacher.
If you're not getting email notifications:
- Please make sure that your email address is correct in your account, and that you're checking the same email address associated with your account
- Check that your email provider isn't blocking emails from ClassDojo
- Check that our emails aren't going to your Spam inbox (or another separate Promotions or Social inbox)
