How to share progress reports with parents

There are two ways you can set your parents up with access to their child's reports:

A. Send home a printed parent code

  1. Open the class you'd like to print parent codes for
  2. Click the "Reports" button on the top of the screen
  3. Click on “Parent Accounts” located under the “Connections” heading on the left side of the screen
  4. Click on the blue “Download and Print all Invites” button

This will download a PDF file of the invite that has a special code on it. Once a parent enters their code here they will be able to login through the week to view their child's progress, and we will send them an email every Friday (if there's new data available) to remind them to login.

B. Send an invite by email

    1. Open the class you'd like to invite parents to
    2. Click the "Reports" button on the top of the screen
    3. Click on “Parent Accounts” located under the “Connections” heading on the left side of the screen
    4. Find the student associated with the parent you want to invite. Enter the parent's email address in the “Enter Parent Email” text box, and click “Invite” to send the invitation.

An email will be sent to the parent, and they will be able to create a secure parent account to view their child's report.

Once they are signed up, the parents will be able to login through the week to view their child's progress, and we will send them an email every Friday (if there's new data available) to remind them to login.

iOS

There are two ways you can set your parents up with access to their child's reports:

A. Send home a parent code

    1. Open the class you want to invite parents to
    2. Click on the “Parents” tab along the top of the screen
    3. Click on the “Get Parent Invites” button below the “Connect with Parents from Your Class” heading

This will send an email to you with a copy of your parent invitations to the email address registered to your account.

B. Send invites by email

    1. Open the class you want to invite parents to
    2. Click on the “Parents” tab along the top of the screen
    3. Click on the student who is associated with the parent you want to invite. This will bring up a pop up window where you'll be prompted to enter the parent's email address. Enter the email address and click “Invite”

Android
