How to Send a Group Message

From the Web

  1. Open your class
  2. Click on the “Messages” tab

  3. Click on the compose icon in the left corner next to "Messages"

  4. Click "New group"

  5. Select which teachers and/or parents you would like to include in your group message and then click the blue "Create" button
  6. Compose your message to the group and click "Send"

Please note: Your message will be sent in a group thread, and each user in the thread will be able to read and respond to each other's messages. 

Once a group message is created, you can leave a group message, add a new member to a group message, and remove someone from a group message. To do this, open the group message thread and click on the profile icons in the upper right-hand corner. From here, you can...

  • Add a new member to the group by clicking on the "Add" button.
  • Leave the group message by clicking the "More" button and selecting "Leave group.
  • Remove someone from the group message by clicking on the three-dot menu next to their name and clicking "Remove from Group."
