Creating a Student Account with a QR Code

To scan a QR code, please use the iOS or Android app.  

iOS  

From a student account, you'll have the ability to view reports, customize your avatar, and add to your Student Story.  In order to register, you'll need either your class QR code from your teacher, or your individual student QR code from your parent's account (if they have a parent account open).  

To Register for a Student Account: 

Have your QR code handy, you'll need it during this process

  1. Open the app
  2. Tap on the "I'm a Student" button 
  3. Hold the device up to the QR code (paper or computer screen) with the code inside the white lines
  4. Select your name from the list of students

You're now connected!  You can tap on the "View (student)'s report" tab to see your report, or tap on the "Customize your Monster" to change your monster avatar!  

 

If You're Having an Issue Scanning your Code:

  1. Ensure that you're connected to the Internet
  2. Ensure that your connection is stable 
  3. If possible, try switching between WiFi and a data plan to get a stronger, more stable connection. Note: If you're getting a red flashing box when trying to scan, it indicates that your connectivity is too low
  4. If at school, try scanning from home
