How to Schedule a Message

Web, iOS, Android

From the Web

    1. Open your class
    2. Click on the "Messages" tab 
    3. Select "All Parents" to message all connected parents, or click on a parent's name to message that parent privately.  Use the compose box at the bottom of the screen to write your message
    4. Click on the downward pointing arrow next to the "Send" button
    5. Tick the Schedule Message box  scheduling_messages__2_.png
    6. Set your scheduled time and click on the blue Schedule button
    7. Click on the blue "Schedule It Now" to schedule your message in the pop up window.  To make changes to your message, click on the "Edit Message" option  

Note: You'll now see a grey note above your compose box with your scheduled message in it. Click on the "Expand" button to view message information or remove the scheduled message.

iOS

        1. Open your class
        2. Tap the “Messages” button in the bottom right corner of the screen Updated_Helpdesk_article_images__80__1_.png
        3. Tap "All parents" to send a message to all connected parents, or tap on a student’s name to send a message to their connected parent as a private message
        4. Tap on the clock icon below the "Write a Message" line
        5. Set the date and time you'd like the message to be sent and tap "Select" 8a3dc902-2b41-4371-972b-29c639e854ed.jpg
        6. Write your message and tap "Schedule" when you're ready to schedule your message

Note: You'll now see a clock in the top right corner with a number bubble on it. This bubble tells you how many messages you have scheduled. Tap this clock to view or delete your scheduled messages. Updated_Helpdesk_article_images__86.png

 

 

 

Android

      1. Open your class
      2. Tap the “Messages” button in the bottom right corner of the screen
      3. Tap "All parents" to send a message to all connected parents, or tap on a student’s name to send a message to their connected parent as a private message

      5. Set the date and time you'd like the message to be sent and tap "SAVE"Screenshot_2017-04-06-10-51-29-1.png

      6. Write your message and tap the blue (send) arrow when you're ready to schedule your message

      7. Select "SCHEDULE MESSAGE" to confirm

Note:  You'll now see a clock in the top right corner with a number bubble on it. This bubble tells you how many messages you have scheduled. Tap this clock to view or delete your scheduled messages.
