Sending Class Announcements

So long, copy-paste: With class announcements, you can message every family member and co-teacher in your class at once! 🎉 These special messages will show up at the top of your list so you can easily refer back to them, and they won’t create a group thread, so all responses are private. You can also mute announcements if you need to.

1. Open your class
2. Click on the “Messages” tab
   
3. Select "Class Announcements" 
4. Type in your message and click "Send". Don’t forget: this message will go to all the grown-ups connected to your class!
   
5. Need some peace and quiet? You can mute class announcement notifications at any time. Click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner to open the Info popup, then switch on Mute announcements.
   

Note: Class announcements are not group messages. Family members and teachers can reply privately via direct message.
